Literacy Tutoring
Literacy tutoring means getting help with your reading skills. Being able to read better means you
can have more job and education opportunities. They also need volunteers to help tutor other
people. There are programs all over the United States, but here in Chicago you can start out by looking
at this program:
South Suburban Literacy Programs
There are nearly one hundred volunteer adult literacy programs throughout the Chicago area that serve the diverse community of adult learners. Many
of the programs have numerous tutoring sites at different locations throughout the city and
suburbs.
