So, you're almost done with high school. Maybe you're already finished! What's next? This section, Your World, is all about dealing with life after high school.

New: Our latest addition to this section of our website is about Chicago community resources for things like health care and groceries. A lot of people may not know that there are programs out there designed to save you money, especially if you get just SSI or you're on a really tight budget. So check out topics like Paying for Medicine and Paying for Groceries.

Every student, with and without disabilities, should spend some time thinking about what you want after high school. A lot of people want jobs. Some people want to go to college. A LOT of people don't really know what they want!

Have you asked yourself where you will live when you finish high school? Do you have some kind of plan for getting a job? What about dating? Do you think you might even...get married?!?! If you do, do you want kids? Are you going to do all this while living with your folks, or are you planning to be independent?

Your World will provide you with information to help you get started on thinking about this stuff. Also, check out our list of links to other youth centers throughout the United States. If you are not from Chicago, maybe one of these groups is located close to you.
